  • Dr. Rebecca Burns holding a pelvis and smiling, Bruce Village

    Dr. Rebecca Burns

    Chiropractor, Founder (she / her)

“I want you to be this excited about your pelvis. No really…”

Dr. B completed her chiropractic education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2020. She decided hands-on patient care was in her future while researching the “illness narratives” of persons with chronic illness for her Master’s degree in Anthropology of Health. She brings her passion for sharing through storytelling to her everyday work as a chiropractor.

Dr. B is especially passionate about treating the pelvis in all stages of life. She ensures that her pregnant and postpartum patients achieve their goals in the safest, most effective ways possible.

Dr. B also loves working with the infants and youth of her community. Welcoming a little one of her own in 2023, she gained a newfound appreciation for the milestones little bodies meet in their first months and years.

  • Isabel Tuason, Bruce Village Chiropractic

    Isabel Tuason

    Chiropractic Intern (she / her)

Isabel is currently a 4th-year chiropractic student at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, class of 2026. Her passion for care grew through connection with people, community, and the small moments that happen when someone finally feels heard. Her experiences across both clinical training and volunteer work have shaped a care style rooted in listening, trust, and thoughtful presence.

She has worked with a wide range of patients, including individuals managing chronic pain, athletes recovering from sport-related strains, and people with office-based jobs navigating the aches and stiffness that come from long hours at a desk. These varied experiences have helped her understand how different lifestyles place different demands on the body and how care needs to be adaptable, realistic, and personal.

Along the way, Isabel fell in love with small-town living and the sense of connection it brings. She values the relationships that form when health care is personal and familiar, and she is deeply motivated by the opportunity to help bridge gaps in access to care often felt in smaller or underserved communities. For her, being a healthcare provider means showing up consistently, building trust over time, and making care feel approachable rather than overwhelming.

In the clinic, Isabel focuses on helping people move with more comfort and confidence through gentle chiropractic care, soft tissue therapy, and simple movement strategies that fit into everyday life. She places a strong emphasis on clear, honest communication, taking time to explain what’s happening in the body in a way that feels reassuring and empowering.

With extensive training in assessments and communication, as well as clinical experience working with a variety of patients, Isabel’s priority remains the same: creating a calm, supportive space where patients feel heard, respected, and never rushed.

Outside of the clinic, Isabel enjoys playing board games with loved ones, music, reading, staying active, and trying everything at least once.
